O SUNSET DESTINATION HOSTEL está situado no espaço onde foram construídos os navios para as Descobertas Marítimas dos portugueses no século XV e este é um edifício da herança arquitectónica portuguesa de 1928.
Actualmente o hostel mantém a mesma estrutura arquitectónica e situa-se no andar superior. Toda a nova decoração e melhorias são da autoria do arquitecto português João Teixeira.
De todas as melhorias e elementos de design salienta-se, por chamar mais a atenção, os beliches, resultado de uma viagem inspiradora à Capadócia, Turquia.
Estes únicos e resistentes beliches são feitos de madeira reciclada, evitando assim que a madeira se contraia ou ranja e são de elevada qualidade. Até há uma cabine para massagens no terraço com este design da Capadócia!
